Passover

Passover is a major Jewish spring festival that commemorates the liberation of the Israelites from Egyptian slavery, lasting seven or eight days from the 15th day of Nisan. The eight-day festival of Passover is celebrated in the early spring, from the 15th through the 22nd of the Hebrew month of Nissan (April 10–18, 2017).

Sidebar - Mark Parisi, the creator of off the mark, married a Jewish woman. The first time he met some of the relatives for Passover, he realized that the sterotypical Brooklyn Jewish Accent portrayed by Perry Mason was real.
